You found me. I’m Nathan—a Christian software engineer living in Kansas. I spend a lot of time working on computers. Sometimes I even enjoy it.
For money, I develop APIs for airplane services. Previously, I worked in embedded operating systems for five years. For free, I enjoy listening to music, reading, cooking, and learning about Jesus.
That’s okay. The internet has become very bloated, slow, and unfriendly. People build entire apps just to introduce themselves and provide a link to their twitter. I think that’s goofy and wasteful. As much as I love design and making things beautiful, my principles won’t allow me to make this website more than it needs to be. I believe that we deserve a simpler, faster, more accessible internet, so I’m doing what I can to help. Enjoy your stay, but this is all there is 🙂
That’s okay.
No, really, don’t worry about it.
Oh, wow. This is getting strange. Uh. You can send me an email at hello(at)ntompkins.co if you insist. Let’s leave it at that. Thanks for stopping by, new best friend ✝
